What is MicroWavy^®?

MicroWavy® is actually two amazing products for outstanding microwave safety and cleanliness – a base tray, and a wavy tray.

The two work together, or separately. It’s up to you, and what you want to use them for.

They’ll safely carry your hot food from microwave to table top without missing a beat or causing a burn and will keep your glass tray pristine by preventing spills and boil overs.

MicroWavy^® Base Tray

The base tray is cleverly designed to hold your containers of food to be cooked or reheated, or glasses, cups or mugs of liquid. There’s no fear of burns when you use this ingenious little tray to carry your heated food containers. And with a smart handle all the way round, no matter where it faces when you open the door, you can lift the tray right out.

Your heated containers are resistant to slipping, too, because the central surface is textured.  The central surface is also cleverly design to have a gentle curve from centre extending outwards to the indented edge. If liquids spill or boil over, don’t panic. The liquids or over-boils will drain into the reservoir located at the indented edge, so your glass tray stays pristine and spill-free. And you can just pop the base tray in the dishwasher to clean it. What’s not to love!

This nifty base tray is made of heat resistant polypropylene material that’s safe for contact with food, and also kind to the environment. That’s right. It’s 100% recyclable, so it’s guilt-free to use. It also has the FDA tick of approval. Its design is patent protected, so it’s unique. And it can keep its surface safe to touch in operating temperatures of -10°C to 120°C (14°F to 248°F).

MicroWavy^® Wavy Tray

The wavy tray is, needless to say, the wavy part of this supersmart duo. The ‘waves’ are handles, so you can lift the tray with ease. And the curved surface is contoured so your plates of food nestle in perfectly.

The wavy design has eight contact points for minimum heat transfer from food container being heated or reheated, while the intelligent wavy design ensures that your food has maximum exposure to the microwaves.

But that’s not all. If any food or liquid boils over, it drains down the waves into the reservoir of the base tray, keeping the glass tray spotless. It’s super simple to wipe any spills, but it’s also dishwasher safe.
